I'll be in this area in a couple of weeks and am wondering if I should be concerned about heavy thunderstorms. Also, does anyone know if there are still a lot of mosquitoes in this area? Thanks!

NOAA has a great website for looking at the forecasts for about a week out, keep dialing it up.
As for mosquitoes, easy enough to take DEET regardless. I came back from the weekend with a scattering of bites. Everything is a month delayed - expect them and be happy if you don't get them.

There's a waterfall at the southwest corner of East Lake that is between Epidote and Page Peaks. Five guaranteed years of good backcountry luck for anyone who knows if it has a name. Much appreciated.
