When you visit Yosemite can you get a Gardia filter and just sip the water?

If you drink from the front country water systems (such as campgrounds and hotels), you don't need a filter.

If you drink water in the backcountry from streams, you need to use a Guardia filter, such as the straw filter or pump. Washing your hands also helps.

Water filters may be available in the Mountain Shop in Curry Village.

Ha ha. Only if you're using your Giardia water filter straw or other water purification (chemicals or filter).
