Okay, I see. Those are big enough for some gear but you will need to put all the smellables in a bear locker instead. I believe they are 75 cents every time you open them. They are for day use visitors. You can get more info at 209-372-8333 (Curry Village desk).

There are 3 sets of lockers/boxes around Curry Village:

1. For guests, a free locker with a key to store your food.

2. For non-guests, a coin locker near the Guest Registration. I've used these for stashing things during a backpack.

3. For non-guests (or guests), several large foot-locker type "bear boxes" without locks to store food. Some people bring a gym-type lock to use on these, but this keeps others from sharing the same box.
