North Dome Spring

Postby SierraMaclure » Thu Apr 29, 2010 10:27 am

Reaching out for GPS Units or a good description of where the purported spring is near the shoulder of North Dome in Yosemite. Thanks.

I'd be very suspect of someone saying there is a spring on the shoulder.
I know when we've camped on the shoulder we carried water from
Lehemite Creek (always has water). Maybe it was earlier in the
year and the drainage made it appear to look like a spring.
There is no spring marked on the USGS map or any I have ever seen.
If earlier then you may be able to get water from Royal Arch Crk.
For sure Lehemite and Snow Crk always have water.
Not sure this helps much but that's all I got.
Have fun

My good friend told me there was a spring near North Dome. We were going to hike there just to show me were it was, but unfortunately I can't hike like I used to.
