TM/White Wolf

Postby bbmq » Wed Jun 30, 2010 2:00 pm

I've already bagged my planned hike for Sunrise TH/Cloud's Rest, Sunrise Creek/Half Dome/Echo Creek/Sunrise/Sunrise TH starting on July 5. Now I'm looking for info for Tuolumne Meadows to White Wolf for July 5-8.

I read one poster say it's clear from TM to Waterwheel, does anyone know about after that?

I'm taking my girlfriend and she's highly sensitive to bugs, how are the mosquitoes at this time?

Is TM campground open?

I went this past weekend, starting at white wolf...it's really a great time to go, though expect to get very wet. I posted briefly about trail descriptions on another forum (scroll to the bottom of the thread):

I came back with many many mosquito bites, but there aren't that many out yet, I'm just a mosquito magnet. The mosquito situation will get worse every week, but I'd guess it'll probably still be tolerable this weekend.
