I am surprised that I can't find any trip reports on this 50 mile loop. Anyone of any trip reports out there?

You realize this is more or less the High Sierra Camp loop
minus May and Glen Aulin?
There should be 100s of trip reports out there although most
probably staying in the HS Camps.
If you have specific question... or want a picture of something...
I've done that loop and variations a number of times...
Probably 100's of pix in Google Earth too since it's so popular.
Have fun

For me, I am thinking of going from merced lake to half dome then back down the JMT to cathedral lakes.
I am not sure of the trail that takes you to sunrise creek from Merced lake. Does any one know the name - it is not the echo valley trail and it is not the trail that takes you down to little yosemite valley.
