Road Closure - Glacier Point

Im planning a trip up the last week of April. I know the on the website it says the road(s) to glacier point dont open till May. But can or has it in the past opened up earlier if the weather has been warmer than anticipated.

The reason is I want to be able to make it up there on my trip.

Last year it opened on May 5; I would be surprised if it opened sooner this year, as the snowfall is above average and still piling up.

But, who knows? Guess you'll have to wait and see.

They start plowing on the 15th of April.

But I wouldn't count on it being open until May 1st at the earliest.
