Snow, rain, below freezing nighttime temps, and high winds are forecast for this weekend and into next week. At least a couple inches might be possible in higher elevations, on top of what's already on the ground. Be prepared (know what that means), change to a lower altitude route, or postpone. There's also a good chance that Tioga Rd might temporarily shut back down again. At least the mosquitoes should be lighter. Welcome to Yosemite in May. Happy trails.

Yep, I'm one of those groups and we decided to cancel. Pretty unfortunate considering I'm not sure when we will get another opportunity, definitely not this summer. I kept weighing the decision but finally decided based on our plans and options it wasn't worth a possible miserable, cold trip, sitting in a tent waiting out rain and snow.

That's got to be a huge disappointment! I'm sorry to hear that. It's rough time of year to make and count on plans. I'm bummed for you guys.
